Learn about our structure and leadership.

Good Ventures is comprised of two separate corporations that make grants and/or investments in support of the mission of Good Ventures — to help humanity thrive:

  1. Good Ventures Foundation, a private foundation created in 2012;
  2. Good Ventures LLC, a for-profit impact investment firm created in 2012 which donates its net earnings to the Good Ventures Foundation.

This website is a joint presentation of these two corporations and the Open Philanthropy Project fund, an advised fund of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.[1]
