DAKOTA is a musical comedy-drama feature film with an all new original soundtrack by international pop-star Phoebe Ryan, who also plays the titular character. Dakota is a talented but aimless singer, besieged by a failed relationship and struggling to make peace with her past. Dakota's life wasn't always at a stalemate. Dakota had once been offered a full-ride scholarship to a New York City graduate program for vocal performance, and her musical collaborations with her best friend Robert were gaining traction online. When Dakota meets Logan after a performance, she falls for him hard and fast, choosing him over the potential of her music career. A long love story, seen through the memories of one young couple: recollections altered by moods, their different perspectives, and time itself.
