Koleḻuttu, popularly romanised as Kolezhuthu (கோலெழுத்து, കോലെഴുത്ത്), was a syllabic alphabet of south India (Kerala and Tamil Nadu) sed for writing Malayalam and Tamil languages.[2]

Koleluttu developed from Vatteluttu script in the post-Chera/Perumal (c. 12th century onwards) period in Kerala.[2] It was used by certain Kerala communities (such as Muslims and Christians) even up to c. 18th century AD.[2]
