DHL Botswana is a poorly run operation with no concern for its customers. I arranged for an express ...shipment from Johannesburg to Maun (Botswana) on 16 October. The shipment was received in Gaborone on 17th October and the clearing process was completed on the 18th. I was then informed that my goods could not be shipped to Maun until payment in duties was made. I have since requested for an invoice or even just the amount due so I can make payment and my goods can be dispatched to Maun and 5 days later my goods are still being held ransom for Non-payment but how can payment be made when DHL can’t even tell me how much to pay? I have been I contact daily with the Gaborone branch requesting an invoice and only received apologies and buck passing (still no invoice or amount due) Never again will I use or recommend DHL to anyone as there are plenary of other quicker and more efficient operations out there. Quite frankly I am disgusted in this service. See More
