- Research Analyst: you are early in your career (either joining immediately after completing your undergraduate studies or in the first 3 years of your career) or your experience so far is not directly relevant.
- Senior Research Analyst: you have some relevant work experience.
- Senior Fellow: you have a relevant advanced degree, such as a Ph.D in economics.
