    To all the folks trying to recreate school at home, with highly structured schedules & worksheets: we teach that way in schools because of CROWD CONTROL, not because it's the best way to learn. Kids have a rare opportunity here to engage in deep, authentic learning instead. 1/

    Would be super cool if we came out of this with a world that thought it was ok for working people to also be parents simultaneously

    If we're on a Zoom call, I don't care if your kids are in the frame, having a meltdown in the background, or are sitting in your lap playing with your keyboard. I get it. The fact that you're continuing to work is a minor miracle. Just do your thing.

    My favorite part is the 'up to'. They will means test the $500.

    If I get laid off from my job and lose my healthcare in the middle of a global pandemic and you tell me “Don’t worry, we’re sending your family up to $500 a month”, I’m going to assume you’re mocking me.

    People are about to realize the primary purpose of the American economy is as a wealth-creation tool. We might get a few weeks of quarantine as people learn the impact, but I believe they will ultimately choose to just let people die quickly so they can get back to a bull market.
