• Director of Community Investment

  The Director of Community Investment is charged with developing a grantmaking strategy to 1) Grow our communities of volunteers, especially in places in the world that are just coming online, 2) Empower our existing communities to be more effective in their work and 3) Ensure that community investments are made more equitably around the world.  You will do this by making grants to our Wikimedia affiliates, free knowledge ecosystem partners and individuals, with an emphasis on those who are organizing seedling efforts to sprout communities in emerging parts of the world.

• FP&A Financial Systems Consultant

  Join the Wikimedia Foundation in our ambitious project to empower people to create and share the sum of all human knowledge. We are looking for a Systems and Reporting Analyst to work with our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. You will support the Foundation’s goal of becoming a model for financial planning, analysis, and reporting across the Wikimedia movement.  You will help us understand our needs and use cases, make recommendations for configuration and design improvements, and implement those improvements. In addition you may be asked to build and run financial reports, maintain our reporting tools, and build our documentation library so that we can generate timely and actionable insights for the Foundation.

  The purpose of this position is to coordinate and plan international meetings and multi-day working sessions for internal teams at the Wikimedia Foundation. The Wikimedia Foundation has over 300 staff that are located all around the globe.
