  4. Sincerely, what is a Disney+ series at this point then? Is Lizzie McGuire really going to be more mature than The Simpsons? A Love, Simon spinoff going to be more mature than Captain America: Winter Soldier? Do these shows become Hulu series? Disney+ needs content, and yet.

  17. Chapek is going to run day-to-day operations. I use the term "Big Adult Sons" jokingly a lot, but in Mayer/Feige/Kennedy (and Favreau/Filoni) on the content side, Iger has built an autonomous machine. One that he's now going to work even more closely with to continue building.

  18. It's easy to associate Disney today with its DTC ambitions, specifically Disney+ and Mayer. Arguably, that's exactly why Mayer isn't CEO. Iger told investors "the strategy is deployed." Those who helped build that strategy should focus on building upon it
