    Not everything was perfect in 1995, but I think we've lost something on the way. Some remarks: 1) Underlined letters indicate keyboard shortcuts. How handy! 2) Design clearly says: "We are buttons!". It's easy to find the wanted button, because they have some color. 1/3

    : Inter by Requested by: (1/2) I feel like I have gone over several sans serif fonts, but the purpose of this font was to be clearly eligible and to perfectly fit as an 11pt font. It is needless to say, but I am very impressed by this font.

    My plugin Nester, is now available. Run this to automatically parent any object that sits above a top-level frame. If the object is not completely within the frame it will ignore it.

    If I may propose a middle ground: Only disable ligatures when the effective tracking is larger than a certain amount, like maybe 1%. That way an "fi" or "→" ligature still works and only breaks when tracking is significant. Something like this:

    Chrome & Firefox both try to be helpful when disabling ligatures when text is tracked. However, it's common to track text by small amounts to adjust for optical size (for instance Apple does this.) Changes to The web platform breaks content once again :–P
