Where can your money do the most good?

For those who wish to donate to specific, individual charities, we suggest looking at the current recommendations of charity evaluators GiveWell in the area of global health and development, and Animal Charity Evaluators in the area of animal welfare.

Another way to donate effectively is the Effective Altruism Funds. Effective Altruism Funds allows donors to pool their money into charitable funds managed by experts to support interventions in any combination of these areas:

  • Global health and development
  • Animal welfare
  • Long-term future
  • Effective altruism meta

The Effective Altruism Funds are run by the Centre for Effective Altruism, which is also the parent charity of Giving What We Can.
