Filtered HTML

• Source Filter: Sources can be located in the 1st column (td) of a table with id sources. Source references should be enclosed in the @ character. Please note: source and source references strings are case sensetive and must match exactly.
• You can insert footnotes directly into texts with [fn]This text becomes a footnote.[/fn]. This will be replaced with a running number (the footnote reference) and the text within the [fn] tags will be moved to the bottom of the page (the footnote). See <a href="http://drupal.org/project/footnotes">Footnotes Readme page</a> for additional usage options.
• Every instance of "[toc ...]" in the input text will be replaced with a collapsible mediawiki-style table of contents. Accepts options for title, list style, minimum heading level, and maximum heading level, and attachments as follows: [toc list: ol; title: Table of Contents; minlevel: 2; maxlevel: 3; attachments: yes;]. All arguments are optional.

• Allowed HTML tags: <fn> <a> <em> <strong> <blockquote> <code> <ul> <ol> <li> <br> <p> <div> <table> <tr> <td> <ht> <tbody> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <fn>

  Most unusual characters can be directly entered without any problems.

  If you do encounter problems, try using HTML character entities. A common example looks like &amp; for an ampersand & character. For a full list of entities see HTML's entities page. Some of the available characters include:

• Web page addresses and e-mail addresses turn into links automatically.
• Lines and paragraphs are automatically recognized. The <br /> line break, <p> paragraph and </p> close paragraph tags are inserted automatically. If paragraphs are not recognized simply add a couple blank lines.
• Typogrify.module brings the typographic refinements of Typogrify to Drupal.
  • Converts multiple hyphens to en dashes and em dashes (according to your preferences), using SmartyPants.
  • Adds a css style sheet that uses the <span> tags to substitute a showy ampersand in headlines, switch caps to small caps, and hang initial quotation marks.
