About

About

New Harvest 2020 is our fifth annual cellular agriculture conference.

For two days, researchers, students, companies, investors, and policymakers will convene to chart the path forward for cultured meat and other cell ag products.

We will discuss the latest scientific breakthroughs, regulatory challenges, and industry developments in cellular agriculture—the growing of animal products like meat, milk, and eggs from cells instead of animals.

Theme

Theme

The theme, elephant in the room, refers to our goal for #NewHarvest2020 to be a forum for conversations about topics which, although difficult, must be discussed if cellular agriculture is to progress as a field.

Since our founding in 2004, New Harvest has been laser focused on addressing the neglected needs of cell ag. This year, given the field’s maturity and rapidly shifting landscape, we want to focus on the neglected conversations that the community feels are important for our collective growth.

What are topics, speakers, and dialogues that you think need to be highlighted but are often sidelined or ignored?
