Gabrielle Bell

Gabrielle Bell is one of my favorite cartoonist out there right now. She does some excellent slice of life autobio work, and is developing into in my personal opinion being one of the more important modern creators. Check out her collection Lucky, from Drawn & Quarterly as well as short stories in the anthology Mome from Fantagraphics.

I don’t know whether this helps at all but that third song by ‘Stefan Iker’ (or how was it?) is sung in German, not Dutch. So I just imagine it’s not from Belgium..
    Good luck finding out more!

Found some information about Stephan Eicher if anyone wonders. First of all the song played is a cover of “Nice” by LiLiPUT, a swiss band. Eicher turns out to be swiss as well, and there is a lot more info at

I hope it’s not too hard to find more of his stuff, because I intend to do just that!
