Chinali is an unclassified language of India. Many speakers are well educated,[1] and say that their language is "closely related" to Sanskrit.[3] Speakers are distributed throughout Lahul (or Lahaul) Valley.[3]

Chanali is also known as Chana, Channali, [4] It is spoken by around 750+ people.[5]
