    Update! By popular demand I have made this list public. Not surprisingly, it has also grown. My heart is full, and I'm inspired by and grateful for every one.

    Let's try it this way: I know of/am involved with 9 incredible, worthy projects (all non-profits run by & advancing women & POC) that each need $25K this month to get to the next quantum level of growth. If you write checks this size, I'll share the list. DM me.

    10 years ago, I was working 12 hour days running a single business. 10 years later, my business partner Chris and I live the life of retirees. Yet: We now own 20 majority owned businesses. With over 400 employees. And 80 minority investments. Plus a bakery and hotel.

    Leave it to to find the perfect metaphor. Participating in this convening of 20 small loan fund operators from across the US, hosted by , was seriously one of the best days of my life.

    “Made together, without goals ... It is not a plan It is a nourishing” This is where I’m headed in the years to come, joined by fellow travelers. When fresh ideas are wrapped in old words, to make the ideas digestible, freshness dies. Let’s stop and compost the old instead.

    This is what a warm data lab does... I found it more acceptable to describe in poem form. Prose kept making the image concrete where it needed to be alive.

    I saw a rough cut of this film about Pepe the Frog and turned to and said, “This better come out before November because it’s the only thing I’ve seen that might save our democracy, and that tells the story of how we lost it.” Run do not walk.

    So proud! My 💕 has edited 4 documentaries in the past 3 years that have made it into ! 🤯 The latest one is a skeleton 🔑 to the dark side of the internet, & is = parts hilarious, chilling, heartening, informative & absurd. Cannot wait.🐸

    Amen. is basically & ’s walking economic development office. Just one helpful, caring relationship at a time, folks. That’s how it’s done. And yes, if you give the man the resources to do this thankless job & train the next generation I bet it’ll scale.
