Gavi's evaluation studies

This report presents the main findings from an evaluation of Gavi’s support to civil society organisations (CSOs) during the period 2011 to 2017. The evaluation was conducted by Itad in 2018.

This report presents the main findings of the evaluation of Gavi supported measles supplementary immunisation activities in Nigeria. The evaluation addresses the effects of measles campaigns and their effect on the routine immunisation services. The Evaluation was conducted by KIT Royal Tropical Institute (KIT), Amsterdam in cooperation with the society for family Health (SFH), Nigeria.

This evaluation covers the implementation of the eighth Memorandum of Understanding (MOU8; 2016-2020) between Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and UNICEF Supply Division (SD). UNICEF SD provides procurement services to Gavi. These services cover the supply and procurement, including shipment and delivery, of vaccines and certain vaccine-related supplies funded by Gavi and by those countries fulfilling their co-financing obligation through UNICEF.

Evaluating our health system strengthening grants helps us to improve the performance of our programmes and policies and better deliver on our mission.

An evaluation is currently under way to assess the relevance, effectiveness and efficiency of technical assistance to countries through Gavi’s partners’ engagement framework (PEF).
