Wiki Trip lets you visit the history of a Wikipedia page
and get to know some interesting stats.
You can use the slider to go back or forward in time, the
buttons on the left to play/pause or adjust the animation speed.
The map will show you where the anonymous edits came from.
If you want to go on and visit the history of another page
use the search form or click the "Random" button!
This plot shows two time series of edits of the page
One shows the edits by registered users while the other one
by anonymous users
Here you can know which countries anonymously
edited the page most or wether the registered
users that contributed are most females
or males
If you uncheck the "Cumulative" box you'll get an instantaneous view of the data
The map shows only anonymous edits because it's not possible to trace registered users
The "Edits by country" chart shows data of anonymous edits because it's not possible to trace registered users
At the bottom of the page there are some useful links. You can see the source article or compare the page on Manypedia!
The permalink stores the state of the page at the date that you're viewing! So you can share interesting time slices with other people
You can share interesting queries with friends using the share bar at the bottom right of the page
This service is powered by Toolserver.org, there's a public API available if you want to integrate it in your application

The big red bubbles on the map gather a lot of edits. You can click on them to know how many edits there are in that area
On Wikipedia not all users specify their gender, the "Edits by Gender" chart shows data of users that decided to do it
