In a press conference on Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he is formally agreeing to the "Steinmeier Formula" peace process, in which Russian-occupied parts of eastern Ukraine would receive a self-governed status after holding OSCE-approved local elections. Zelensky also stated this would pave the way for the upcoming "Normandy Four" diplomatic summit between Russian, Ukrainian, French and German leaders.
