“I moved from India to join Facebook Singapore, where I was one of only two enterprise engineers in the office. We initially focused on building internal tools for teams that help track investments, manage expenses, and automate reports. We work with a huge amount of data and our tools need to generate accurate information for key stakeholders. We were the first team to migrate all internal systems to the Facebook stack. We’re proud to have created products that have transfor…med manual processes into fully-automated tasks, saving time and helping make teams more efficient.
Now, just a year and a half later, our team has grown significantly and builds custom products for Facebook’s IT and security teams. We’ve been successful because we discuss, analyze, and problem-solve together. The engineering culture at Facebook gives us the freedom to openly express our ideas and approach problems in ways that help us build the best solutions. Now that we're a bigger team, we've been able to host tech talks and hackathons, which help us to stay creative and continue learning.
