The Presidential Academy is one of the oldest educational institutions in our country. As an executive staff training center, it dates back to 1921, and will soon mark its centenary. This year, 2019, marks a decade from the Presidential Executive Order that merged two universities, the Academy of National Economy and the Russian Academy of Public Service, which opened a new and important chapter in the Academy’s development.
Over the past nine years, an institution of an unparalleled caliber has developed, capable of handling any educational, research and expert tasks anywhere across Russia, and it continues to grow. Every year, our Academy trains about 200,000 students in its various programs. We are the largest university in Europe and one of the largest in the world.
The Academy is also a unique networking resource. Our regional network of 54 branches ensures high standards and quality of education throughout the country.
The present-day Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) is a university, a school of public administration, a business school, and a research and expert center, all in one. Its programs provide for continuous education and life-long learning, which is its huge advantage. The continuous education concept also reflected in the decision to open the RANEPA Lyceum (high-school program) in 2016.
The Academy successfully delivers highly important programs that train executive staff for the priority national projects, thus helping form the basis for the development of the modern Russian state.

RANEPA Campus
The Moscow campus of the Russian Presidential Academy features modern facilities that add to the desired productive academic environment.
Library
RANEPA’s research library, which has over 1,000,000 shelving units in Russian and foreign languages, traces its history back to the early 20th century.
Cafe and dining rooms
Several cafes and cafeterias can be found on RANEPA's Moscow campus. Each building has several places where students, professors, and visitors can dine. To the delight and convenience of everyone, a Subway sandwich restaurant opened at the beginning of this year. The Academy also has a banquet hall for larger gatherings and events and a bakery featuring freshly baked breads and pastries.
Medical Center
The Medical Center's task is to render medical services to full-time students and RANEPA's regular employees according to the compulsory health insurance program; services which aren't included in the list on obligatory medical insurance are on a paid preferential basis.
Shops and Drugstores
There is a stylish accessories shop on the first floor of case 5 (near a pharmaceutical booth). Here you will find greeting cards, hairpins, costume jewelry, scarfs, headdresses, umbrellas, and also leather products: bags, belts, gloves.
ATMs and Payment Terminals
Sberbank has ATMs located on the first floors of Building 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9 at RANEPA, offering card holders a variety of services, including cash withdrawals, bank statements, cash transfers, user identification, creating passwords for accessing the Sberbank’s online system, payments for and cell phones, utilities and housing.
