ALTBalaji is an Indian subscription based video on demand platform which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Balaji Telefilms Ltd.[1][2][3] Launched on 16 April 2017, ALTBalaji is the Group's foray into the digital entertainment to create original, premium, and tailor-made content especially for Indians across the globe.[4][5]

ALTBalaji is available across 32 different interfaces for its viewers.[6] The content has been made available on mobile and Tablet Devices (Apple phone, Apple iPad, Android phone, Android tablet), Web browser (Desktop Browser), Android TV, and Windows (Windows PC, Windows Mobile, Windows tablet).[7][8][9][10]
Their website claims the platform to be the largest content bank seen in India.[11] The stories range from drama, comedy, and romance, to thriller, crime, and mystery.[12]

The website indicates that the platform will showcase over 250 hours of original content with a new show every month, with 32 new shows lined up in the first year, featuring India's top actors and directors.[4] The content bank also includes 100+ hours of kids' content as well as urban regional shows in Bengali, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil & many more languages.[13][14][15][16][17]
