Best experience at a restaurant ever! I'm always afraid to request medium cooked steak because it is... often close to rare. Explaining this to my waiter, I asked for medium-well. He insisted that I order my steak medium and they could always cook it more. It came and he saw the look on my face and immediately took it away, replacing it with a medium-well, actually well done, but tender and juicy steak. They had cooked both!!! The French champagne was amazing (the one that costs $21 per glass; they less expensive too). We were celebrating two 60th birthdays. They placed a peach ribbon across our table. After already ordering bananas foster tableside, they brought out and draped a Brennan's apron on each of us (that we got to keep) and each of us a plate with pink cotton candy with a candle on top. The waiter told us to lift off the cotton candy where there was a confetti cupcake and a scoop of an amazing pink ice cream with an almond flavor. Just amazing! By the way, though the menu stated the steak came with some sort of potato and veggie, these are not side dishes. You get a crisp slice of potato and one piece of some sort of veggie. They are just a garnish. So, this really is all al a carte. I really wish the menu was clear on this point. もっと見る

Rain or shine, we’re pouring wine for the New Orleans Wine & Food Experience VIP Welcome Reception - NOWFE kicked off the Royal Street Stroll and awarded their 2018 scholarship to Nunez Community College! Guests sipped on wines from Chandon USA & Lagniappe Peak Vineyards and nibbled on Murder Point oysters with kimchi green tomato gelèe & Sweet Potato Dauphine with crème fraîche and caviar.
