    With our new, easier reporting process, we are removing 2.5 times more private information.

    We want to move faster in reviewing reported Tweets that share personal information. Starting today, you'll be able to tell us more about the Tweet you are reporting.

    With our new in-app appeal process, we’re getting back to people faster

    We move quickly to enforce our rules, but sometimes we don’t have the full context and can make mistakes. To fix that, we added a way for people to appeal our decision in the app and have been able to get back to people 60% faster than before.

    We are continuously monitoring and removing any content that depicts the tragedy, and will continue to do so in line with the Twitter Rules. We are also in close coordination with New Zealand law enforcement to help in their investigation.
