We all want to send our donations to the places where they will do the most good.

Giving What We Can's current recommendation for most donors is to donate through Effective Altruism Funds. Effective Altruism Funds allows donors to pool their money into charitable funds managed by experts to support interventions in any combination of these areas:

  • Global health and development
  • Animal welfare
  • Long-term future
  • Effective altruism meta

The Effective Altruism Funds are run by the Centre for Effective Altruism, which is also the parent charity of Giving What We Can.
