A study proposed that if someone in a group feels others are slacking off, they'll lower their effort to match that of the others. This can occur whether it is apparent that the others are slacking or if someone simply believes that the group is slacking.

In Inuit mythology, the "least weasel" is credited with both great wisdom and courage, and whenever a mythical Inuit hero wished to accomplish a valorous task, he would generally change himself into a least weasel.

There are (at least) two myths about how the city of Barcelona was founded. Did a Carthaginian general first name it Barkenon after himself, or did Hercules name is Barca Nona ("Ninth Ship") after saving seafarers from a shipwreck?

Turkish Wikipedia alone contains more than 325,000 articles on everything from the geography of Egypt to quantum computing. If every article were a book, this would be enough books to fill a regional library and then some. A library that freely serves millions.

Short answer is, you’d look elsewhere for the facts you need. But you would be missing out on the thousands of Wikipedia contributors verifying, fact-checking, and citing sources to create a comprehensive free collection of knowledge for the world, by the world.
