    Fremont Mayor Getzschman briefed + me this morning on flood response. Great job by the mayor + his team to limit the flooding damage. This video shows some of the work they are doing to rebuild the levees and lakes around Fremont to protect the city.

    Worth repeating: The Missouri here is usually in the neighborhood of 1000' wide. There's literally a pedestrian bridge across it from Omaha to Council Bluffs. What you see here is orders of magnitude off from normal.

    A lot of teamwork inside the Emergency Operations Center, the , and others led to this moment. The last time did this was 1949 and we dropped hay out of an airplane! I’m thinking we might have been more accurate this time!
