    I'm an atheist and pro-choice, so not on the same page as Hasan, but I cannot comprehend why you'd go after him of all people, nor why you'd do it now. He's long been a vocal critic of Islamic extremism, and his profile is rising now due to excellent, fact-intensive interviews.

    A shocking record of bigotry. That Sam Harris is somehow upheld as an incisive commentator on culture/religion/identity speaks volumes of the intellectual poverty of the moment.

    I wrote this just last night about the "Intellectual Dark Web" (lol), of which Harris is a member.

    The “intellectual dark web” is nothing more than a hate operation attempting to dress bigotry up in a three-piece suit. Sometimes, you’ll have a person of color involved. That doesn’t change that it’s a loose network of people whose actions strengthen white Christian supremacy.
