    UTLA Accelerated charter educators that went on strike voted 77 YES VOTES and only 1 NO VOTE to approve the tentative agreement! 98.7% approved. Just wow. WHAT a victory! Congrats to the TAS strikers and union organizer !

    Unchecked expansion of the charter industry drains millions from neighborhood schools and creates inequities. LAUSD must protect neighborhood schools by regulating charter industry growth and charter school co-locations.
