CrossCheck, a program created in collaboration with First Draft, worked with newsrooms across France to report on misleading claims circulating online during the lead up to the 2017 French Presidential elections.
We worked with Pew Charitable Trusts to create the Voting Information Project, an initiative that works with US election officials to provide certified voting information–from polling places to ballot information–online.
During political debates in the UK, US, and France, we’ve partnered with broadcasting networks to provide a platform on YouTube for citizens to ask questions. We also surfaced Google Search Trends during the debates to underscore the questions at the top of viewers' minds.
On Election Day in November 2016, we worked with ProPublica to spearhead Electionland, a national reporting initiative to track voting experiences across America in real-time. The initiative involved more than 1100 journalists and was the largest collaborative reporting effort to cover a single news event in history.
