Krishna Menon

Chief Executive Officer

Krishna Menon, the CEO of WeVideo, has been a driving force behind the company's technical achievements and explosive growth since its earliest days. In his role as CEO, Krishna is responsible for guiding overall strategy and running WeVideo's daily operations. His more than 20 years' experience developing video related technologies and products, for both consumers and business applications, made Krishna the ideal choice for the first CTO of WeVideo when he joined the company in 2012. As a result, his vision is indelibly stamped on the innovative foundation that continues to put WeVideo ahead of the field. Krishna has long been highly regarded as an innovator of video technology through his work at recognized industry leaders such as Avid Technology, Pinnacle Systems, Microsoft TV, Avid Sports, and Altus365. Krishna holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.

David Krall

Chairman, Board of Directors

From his position as Chairman of the WeVideo Board of Directors, David Krall provides WeVideo with guidance and advice predicated on more than 30 years' experience focused on market-driven high-tech product development and corporate strategy. He has held key roles at some of the biggest names in video and content creation. David combines the deep acumen of a former CEO, COO and Strategic Advisor to both public and private companies with a strong background in engineering. David is the former CEO of Avid Technology Inc. and was COO of DigiDesign. He is also a former president and COO, and remains Strategic Advisor, for Roku, the maker of America's most popular streaming media player. David currently sits on the Board of Directors of Progress Software Corporation (NASDAQ: PRGS), a leading provider of application infrastructure software for business applications, and Audinate, the leading supplier of media networking solutions to the professional audio industry. David formerly was President and CEO of QSecure Corporation. David received his MBA from Harvard University and his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from M.I.T.

Andrew Baum

President, Chief Marketing Officer

Andrew Baum is responsible for all of WeVideo's marketing, ecommerce and product management. He works to ensure that the company and its products speak to the millions of WeVideo users. Andrew has more than two decades' executive and management experience in marketing, sales, business development, and product oversight for some of the leading brands of consumer and professional software, hardware and web solutions for digital content creation including Apple, Avid, Adobe, AMD, Macromedia, SmugMug, Pinnacle Systems, StudioGPU, SGI and Printroom. He has been responsible for launching and driving the market success of such recognizable video industry products as Apple Final Cut Pro and Pinnacle CinéWave. He has also managed the market development of such top industry brand names as Pinnacle Studio, Pinnacle Liquid, and assisted with product acceleration of products like Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop. Andrew brings creativity, mindfulness and a laser focus on results to every brand he launches, champions and steers to global recognition. Andrew has an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Santa Clara University and a BA from Cornell University.

Dr. Nathan Lang-Raad

Chief Education Officer

As the face of education for WeVideo, Dr. Nathan Lang-Raad works with K-12 leadership across the nation to assist schools with implementing creative solutions to shift instructional pedagogy in the classroom to meet the demands of an innovative workforce. He is a Google Certified Educator, Microsoft Innovative Educator, 2016 Apple Teacher, and serves on the ILA Task Force. He is a published author of the book Everyday Instructional Coaching. He is also currently co-authoring a book with Dr. Robert Marzano, a leading education researcher, on the New Art and Science of Teaching Mathematics. Dr. Lang-Raad has been an Education Strategist with CDW-G and a National Consultant with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Additionally, he was the Director of Elementary Curriculum and Instruction for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, and has been a high school science teacher, elementary assistant principal, high school assistant principal, university adjunct professor, as well as Education Supervisor at the NASA-Johnson Space Center. He received his B.A. in General Science-Chemistry from Harding University, his M.Ed. Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston-Victoria and his Ed.D. Learning Organizations and Strategic Change from David Lipscomb University.

John Kline

Vice President, Education Sales and Customer Success

John Kline directs WeVideo's education sales and is a powerful advocate and evangelist for creativity in education. A recognized EdTech business leader, John's passion is driven by nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of technology, learning and creativity. John spent several years teaching at the college level where his use of technology in the classroom and lecture hall made him a sought after clinician, author and trainer. That experience led to leadership roles in education sales and marketing at Sibelius, Digidesign and Avid—all cutting-edge product companies with strong brands and deep penetration in multiple market segments. Prior to joining WeVideo in 2016, John served as the VP of sales and marketing at Connect for Education, a leading online education service provider. John is a graduate of Yale University.

Oleg Tsaregorodtsev

Vice President, Engineering

Oleg Tsaregorodtsev is the vice president of engineering of WeVideo where he guides and motivates a world-class development team dedicated to bringing the best possible video editing experience to every WeVideo user on every platform. Oleg has worked at leading innovators, including Pinnacle Systems and Sun Microsystems, and brings more than 20 years of experience leading distributed teams, writing top-quality code, and patenting inventions in software, mobile, and video editing. Under his direction, WeVideo has received global recognition including being named a Google Editors’ Choice for the WeVideo Android app. Oleg saw similar success in his previous endeavors at Pinnacle where the iPad app he developed received awards from the editors of PC Magazine, Videomaker and other publications. Oleg received his MS equivalent degree in Math and Computer Science from Novosibirsk State University, one of Russia’s top academic and research institutions.
