Terrific service, you’ll get your own personal meat carver
He’ll slice off some of your meat and place it in a little saucer for you to taste and hopefully approve of, and if you love it, he’ll procee...d to continue slicing for your sandwich.. it’s a very fun experience .. we highly recommend this food and overall experience .., 😍🥩❤️ See More

By far the best pastrami I've ever had, and the matzoh ball soup is just as good. On top of that, the staff is wonderful. Sometimes with places as busy as Katz's the staff is stressed and brusque, but... everyone was pleasant and good humored despite how busy they were. Yes, it's a little pricey, but you're paying for quality. It's worth the price. See More

Arrived had to wait on line outside in the cold, finally got inside, had to stand bunched up in a cutters line with dozens of people in a small space. Place our order, make it to a table finally get t...o sit down and eat the best pastrami ever. It was a great New York experience ! See More

“I’ll have what she’s having!”
Ate the famous pastrami, matzo ball, and had a good beer at THE Katz’s Deli. I’ve been wanting to go here since I watched “When Harry Met Sally.” This was probably the... best food I had in New York City. The pastrami was UNREAL!!! It was so juicy and it really melts in your mouth. Aside from that, their cutters were so sweet and they would really accommodat e you.
One of the best destinatio ns in NYC. I would go back here again and again! See More

Incredibly RUDE staff from the greeters to the cutters. Barking orders at us as soon as we walked through the door. not even a hello or welcome??? An iconic New York experience ruined for us by the ru...de staff and the seriously over priced food. I’d give zero stars if I could. See More

Bizarre ticket system. Delicious meat. Got told off for ordering matzo soup at the wrong counter; I’d just waited 15 minutes at the counter for the sandwich and they wanted me to line up again??! Too ...weird. I’d not go back; it was crazy busy and too complicate d to order for me. See More

We absolutely loved the food at this iconic NY deli! Corned beef, beef brisket, latkes, and matzo ball soup rivaled the best we’ve ever eaten! It was worth venturing down to the lower east side to e...at here. Full size sandwiches are huge, 1/ 2 sandwich is enough for most people. We opted for table service and had a very short wait, but this wasn’t a problem and our server was pleasant and attentive. There’s also counter service and you can just seat yourself or take it out. Looks like it gets pretty crowded at busy times. See More

Your delicatess en has always been one of my favorite places to eat for decades. Your employees were very kind and helpful in every way possible. Of course your food was fabulous like it's always been.... One thing I do miss are the old timers behind the counter they were a bit more personal back then. Thank you again for a great meal and The Leftovers too
