PARTY OVERVIEW
Birthday parties are led by one of our trained farm educators, and begin by spending time in the barns and pastures visiting with and learning about our barnyard animals, followed by food and free time in our natural playground called the Grove. An optional craft or activity may be added, depending on the interest and age of the birthday boy or girl. Most of the birthday parties held at Connolly Ranch are for children between the ages of 2 and 8, but can be fun for children of any age.
HOW IT WORKS
You and your guests will have access to our picturesque 12-acre farm, including the animals, garden, grove area, bathrooms, picnic tables and limited kitchen facilities. You provide any food and decorations. Connolly Ranch operates all of its programs on a ‘pack in-pack out’ basis, and therefore we ask that you take all leftovers, plates, cups and other trash/recycling with you. Compost may be left onsite.
TIMING
Birthday parties are most commonly held on weekends from 10am-noon or from 1-3pm (times are flexible). Weekday afternoons are also an option. Parties last 2 hours, and you have a half hour before and a half hour after for set up and clean up (3 hours total time).
COST
A standard 2-hour birthday party at Connolly Ranch costs $350, and is for 15 or fewer children and up to 40 people total, including adults. This includes use of our facility, the farm tour and an educated host to ensure your family and friends feel comfortable and have a great time. If you would like to have more people or more time at your celebration, these can be added for an additional cost.
