I find it so strange that Americans insist on the right to bear arms but claim that there shouldn't be a right to healthcare.

We insist on it because we have this fancy piece of paper called the Constitution that guarantees the right to bear arms.

We are the only country to have that right, and as a result, our gun crime rate is leagues above that of other developed countries.

Although I know it will probably never happen, I think the second amendment should be repealed and replaced with tougher gun laws...

I'm just asking, who will strip those guns away? Who will enforce that law? Because being from the Midwest, most ppl will not hand them over

One thing flyover country needs to realize is that "tougher gun laws" doesn't mean "Oberma is comin fer yer guns"

That has nothing to do with healthcare and more to do with our diet and exercise habits. We are a horribly lazy and glutinous society.

So I looked it up. The BMI of the US is high, but very similar to New Zealand and Chile, both of whom are are the graph.

Population size is radicallly different and a huge factor

The number of doctors per citizen is huge in the US. Pop size therefore moot.

Not at all. Most of these countries are very similar and small populations and the us is opposite. It makes a huge difference

Explain how it matters more than the number of doctors per person.
