About 8,000 servicemen will participate in a large-scale exercise at the Tsugol range of the Eastern MD

An exercise with participation of the combined arms units of the district located in the Zabaykalsky Krai and the Republic of Buryatia is starting at the Tsugol large training complex of the Eastern MD.

Force commanders will practice organizing marches on military vehicles, equipping strong points, organizing communication system, reinforcing obstacles, tactical actions of the units in defence and offence.

8,000 servicemen, up to 50 pieces of aircraft and more than 3,000 pieces of military hardware including T-72B3 tanks, BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, cannon and missile artillery, Iskander tactical ballistic missile systems will be engaged in practical episodes of the exercise.
