Note: you can also donate to GiveWell in support of our recommended charities. GiveWell collects no fees from donations to its recommended charities. Once we have reviewed and approved your request to grant a donation to our recommended charities, 100% of your donation (after credit card fees) will be used to support the charity or charities of your choice (more details on the grant approval process here).

If you choose to send a check, please also complete our check donation form and send it in with your check donation (Microsoft Word version here).
You may give a donation to support GiveWell's operations or you may choose to give funds designated for granting to recommended charities. If you would like us to grant your donation to recommended charities, please specify this by completing and mailing in our check donation form with your check donation. Please note that donor requests to grant donations to our recommended charities are subject to our approval (details on our grant approval process are available here). If you do not designate how you would like your donation to be used, we will treat it as an unrestricted donation, which we may choose to either use for operating expenses or to grant to recommended charities.
