2. RYA First Aid Course – Book here!

This one-day course covers all the usual first aid subjects, but from a boating perspective. It is aimed at anyone who goes afloat, whether on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on cross channel passages. In a medical emergency a little first aid knowledge and immediate action can save lives, especially in remote locations. This course is designed to provide a working knowledge of first aid for people using small craft and to support skippers.

Is aimed to give volunteers the confidence to run the club racing and to have a good knowledge of the procedures and duties of a race officer.
4. Dinghy Racing Event Safety Course– Book here!

If your club is organising major championships or hosting large, open meetings, this course will be your chance to learn all the latest procedures and planning necessary to make sure that you are running a safe, as well as successful event.
5. RYA Dinghy Instructor Coastal Endorsement- Book here!

The course will involve the coaching of dinghy skills on tidal waters through the running of sessions ashore and afloat. Coaching afloat will concentrate on a good briefing, the running of sessions to improve student performance and a quality group debrief. In order to run such sessions successfully a good practical knowledge of tidal dinghy techniques and day sailing considerations is expected. This course is not designed for instructors with no tidal experience.
