Berryessa station (VTA)

Berryessa is a light rail station operated by Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). This station is served by VTA's Alum Rock–Santa Teresa line.

The station was opened in 2004 as part of VTA's Capitol light rail extension.[1]

Location[edit]

Berryessa station is located in the median of North Capitol Avenue, just north of Berryessa Road in San Jose, California.

Station layout[edit]

Platform Side platform, doors will open on the right
Westbound toward Santa Teresa (Hostetter)
Eastbound toward Alum Rock (Penitencia Creek)
Side platform, doors will open on the right

Connecting transit[edit]

VTA Bus Route 45 no longer serves this station due to bus service updates implemented on January 14, 2008.
