In March, 101 musicians from 33 countries chosen on YouTube to make up the YouTube Symphony Orchestra 2011 will converged in Sydney for a week long festival of musical collaboration and participation which was captured on youtube.com/symphony. They worked with world renowned, Grammy award-winning conductor and Artistic Advisor, Michael Tilson Thomas, and other musical luminaries from leading orchestras around the world.

The culmination of the week long festival was the Grand Finale concert which was be streamed live on YouTube from Sydney Opera House. The Grand Finale was a multimedia extravaganza of soaring music accompanied by extraordinary projections by Obscura Digital on the interior Concert Hall and the exterior sails of the iconic Sydney Opera House.
