New York – GLAAD, the world’s LGBTQ media advocacy organization, today released its annual Where We Are on TV report. Where We Are on TV analyzes the overall diversity of primetime scripted series regulars on broadcast networks and assesses the number of LGBTQ characters on cable networks and streaming services for the 2016-2017 TV season. This marks the 21st year that GLAAD has tracked the presence of LGBTQ characters on television.

New York, NY —GLAAD, the world’s LGBTQ media advocacy organization today announced that The Coca-Cola Company executive Pamela Stewart has been appointed to co-chair of GLAAD’s National Board of Directors, serving alongside author and advocate Jennifer Finney Boylan. Additionally, President and Executive Director of the Ariadne Getty Foundation, Ariadne Getty and philanthropist Nicole Eisenberg will join the organization’s National Board of Directors.

GLAAD Atlanta is a celebration of national and local leaders accelerating LGBTQ acceptance and will be hosted by local radio personality Melissa Carter with a special performance by Grammy award-nominated and Dove Award-winning country artist Ty Herndon.
