New Opportunities For Staff At Port Solent

Date:

Staff Promotions At Port Solent

This month Port Solent has welcomed Richard Whillier as its new Duty Manager. Previously employed in the role of Boatyard Administrator at Port Solent, Richard has been with Premier Marinas for four years, beginning his career as a Lock Master in 2012. Along with taking on larger projects and managing the day to day running of the marina, with Duty Manager, Mike Hatch, Richard is looking forward to “learning new skills and helping to grow the site”.

Meanwhile, Port Solent Administrator Sam Bridge has also been promoted and will take over as the new Boatyard Administrator at Port Solent. In Sam’s own words: “I have been covering the boatyard for Richard Whillier since the beginning of September and officially moved into the new role a week ago. I joined Premier in 2014 after finishing my Business Administration degree and have enjoyed my time as an administrator, however I’m looking forward to getting out onsite and learning more about boatyard operations".

Sam will be responsible for managing boatyard bookings and enquiries, reserving blast bay and shed storage spaces and liaising with onsite tenants, ensuring their boatyard needs are met.
