SUPPORT

The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies explores the culture shaped by this mountain landscape. Experience this through our exhibitions, events, heritage homes, archives, library and museum shop.

The Whyte Museum inspires discovery and wonder when people and the Rocky Mountains meet. Visit us as we share stories and explore the culture shaped by this mountain landscape. Our founders, Peter Whyte and Catharine (Robb) Whyte, were local artists and philanthropists.  They both wished to offer a place where people could gather and appreciate the culture and beauty of the area. Our programming is made possible through generous support from the Museum’s Members, donors and sponsors.

“We are so lucky that this facility is part of our learning community, part of Banff, part of Bow Valley and part of Canada.” Grade 5 teacher, Sue Moleski
