President Petro Poroshenko introduced new Kharkiv RSA Head Yulia Svitlychna at the meeting with leadership of the region.

President Petro Poroshenko will meet with servicemen who come back home in the framework of demobilization of the sixth wave.

“The enemy keeps on trying to disrupt the Minsk agreements. Currently, someone is trying to ensure such a critical wave regarding Minsk,” Petro Poroshenko said at the ceremony of conveying military equipment and armament to the Armed Forces in the course of the working trip to Kharkiv region.

President Petro Poroshenko emphasizes that the possibility of escalation of military conflict in eastern Ukraine remains high. “Those who do not feel that must understand that the country is in the state of war,” the President said.

In the course of the working trip to Kharkiv region, President Petro Poroshenko took part in the ceremony of conveying military equipment to the AFU in Chuhuiv.

The leaders of Ukraine and the EU institutions will discuss the development of the situation in Donbas and Crimea, the course of fulfillment of the Minsk agreements and the prospects of the regime of sanctions against Russia in response to its aggression against Ukraine.

“These are our warriors who demonstrate freedom-loving, sacrificial and unbowed Ukrainian spirit inherent in Ukrainian knights of all generations. Due to the joint efforts of our military, society, government, the Ukrainian army is considered one of the strongest in the world by the level of combat skills,” the President said presenting state awards on the Day of Defender of Ukraine.
