Skype for gamers Great app but when I first got it I had to go to voice settings and click on a box with an arrow and it force logged me out and made me log in and I couldn't hit the back button and I had to log in twice and then it worked. Please fix this. I could hear them but they couldn't hear me... It took me 15+ minutes just to start a damn conversation. However lots of cool settings and seemingly light weight

The use speaker option isn't working have it checked and it still continues to play sound out of the small speaker. Please fix this. Galaxy note 5 edit so discovered it was user error. but the prompt response from hammer & chisel was fantastic. its great to see devs that actually care about their apps re edit worked fine yesterday but today not so much back to the same problem.

Great, but still needs some work Really great app, stable and awesome. However being able to edit others roles from mobile would be really great. I'm the owner of a discord and I often get messages when I'm out about role changes and other things that I can't do on the app. Fix that and add more features and it's an easy 5★ app

Really good but no parity with desktop While Discord is an amazing service that finally rivals Skype, a couple of features are still missing from the app that are on desktop. Pinned messages cannot be accessed, nicknames still do not seem to work, and some admin options are still unavailable. The desktop client and web are updated with features faster than Android is, which means the app will always be behind. Still, it's a really good app, so I do recommend it for those looking for a Skype alternative.

Wish it had overlay for push to talk I like the app a lot and it crashes so much less than our old chat but when I'm using it I need to stay on the screen. It would be cool if it had an overlay push to talk button you could move like the Facebook messanger bubble instead of needing to pop back onto the app to talk to people.

slow picture sending I like the features it has and everything but if sending pictures wasn't so much of a problem. even when I have full lte I have trouble sending pictures. I always have to try 10 times minimum to get a picture through. it pissed me off so bad. if they can get it fixed I'll rate 5 stars again

Great app with few issues Super useful app that helps you communicate better with in game team without any hassle. However there have been some server issues where messages get sent twice or images not getting sent. Hopefully these will be resolved eventually

Hey Dexter, Sorry for the inconvenience. If you're ever having connection issues, you could always try connecting via data and wifi to see if that makes a difference. Double message sending points to connectivity, however your friends shouldn't be able to see it.

Lots of proplem Can't add friends by tag or email. Keeps saying that tag doesn't exist. Only way is to go to one's profile and click 'send friend request'and the only way to do that is to be in the same server as the other person. Can't join server by clicking the URL. When I click 'I already have the app open it' nothing happens. I have to paste the URL in the 'join a server' option within the app

Hey Sami, Make sure you're adding them by their username, plus # and four digit ID (ex: CatDog#1234). The info is case sensitive

Much better than skype. Uses a lot less battery than skype. Most annoying problem right now is that if I have notifications from 2 servers. If I tap on 1 notification, then also check the messages from the other server, I have to manually swipe away the second notification. Also, sometimes when I send messages with spotty reception, one message will appear to repeat on my screen rather than showing multiple different messages.

GREAT APP! This app is great, great quality, fast service, it's missing a few super cool features though. If these features are issued I'll drop Skype for good. Things we wanna see : Cam chat, Screenshare, send documents / videos, nickname changes. Please! I love discord, don't dissapoint!

Very buggy, but also good The speakerphone option doesn't work. The messages glitch out very frequently. Notifications show up but I must close the app to get them too often. Galaxy s7 edge. This app is very very broken, but also has unlimited potential. Fix the bugs first. Also, a read/send/delivered system would be amazing I be the bugs are fixed. Over all great, but twiddle with bugs. Fix the bugs, please, or my friend group will find an alternative.

Hey Andrew, I'm sorry you're having some issues with Discord! Have you tried reinstalling the app to see if that helps? If you're voice chat is still glitchy, try connecting via a diff wifi and/or data and see if that helps. Also, you enabled "use speaker" under voice settings?

Used everyday I was so happy when I found this. There not a day that goes by that I dont use it. I have several guilds that I am in that use it, stream teams and its also used to keep in touch with my friends around the world. Cant say enough good about this app. Thank you! 😄💜💜💜👍👍

It says storage full I still have 428mb. It happens when I click on install at playstore. So, I was not really able to install it so can' reinstall . Also, I don't use sdcard if that helps. Edit: I downloaded a backed up discord apk from on another site and that discord apk work . So I think that is not the issue

Discord has been a fantastic overall replacement for any voice communications on just about any computing platform you'd want to use it on. This Android app is no different. It sports all the common features you'd most often use while maintaining a simple to use interface. The layout works as expected if you're coming from the web or desktop version. Quality is identical. Couldn't be more happy with this mobile app.

Great app The app is simply amazing giving you as many possibilities as most of the simmilar programs and even more thab that. The communities that are here are great as well with fun to find around every corner. What kind of half-assed design is this?! This app in its current state is simply HORRIBLE, and it's all down to a single, ill-conceived design choice. That is the fact that it replaces the Enter key - and thus, the ability to create line breaks - with an emoticon key. That is incredibly obnoxious and frustrating. If it isn't fixed soon, I see no reason to not just delete the app and never look back. That is how aggravating it is to not be able to use line breaks

Hey ZeldaTheSwordsman, Android Kitkat doesn't have native support with our app to use the enter key on the keyboard, instead you have to click the paper airplane in the text window itself. :( I apologize for the issues. That's also why we had to use an emoticon key instead. Hopefully, they add support to it soon!

Really like it There is just something I noticed, when I start typing @DiscordTag, some people's ID pop up, and I guess touching one of those allow me to type automatically what's needed. In fact, it doesn't, but it would be nicer if it worked !

Mobile version is plagued with bugs 1) no send on enter on bluetooth keyboards 2) when a bot deletes a command they pool at the bottom of chat until the app is closed and reopened 3) code blocks formatting displays incorrectly

Hey Matt, The good news is 1 and 2 are known issues at the moment and will be fixed in a future update. As for 3, this one's being actively worked on and we hope to get this one out as soon as possible. Android is still catching up with it's desktop counterpart, but we'll get it there one day! We do weekly updates!

Great App for Gamers Everything you need all in one program for communication. Only issue i have right now is getting emails from discord. I have a new phone and i need to retrieve my password but it seems like Discord email service is having issues. Would be 5/5 stars once this issue is fixed.

Custom notifs and it'll be 5 star Good app for using discord on mobile. But until I can set custom notifications then it will stay at 3 star. Edit: Such as making discord use a different tone than my text messages. Using android 6.0.1. Discord 2.9.7.

Audio Quality really sucks Everything works fine on the desktop and web version. The app however suffers a lot to audio overflow or just poor optimizations that make listening to voice chat dodgy. Output defaults to Call volume and there's no way to change it.

Hey Alan, Yikes! Sorry for the bad experience. It shouldn't sound any different than the PC version, but try switching up the voice server region and see if that helps with the bad quality that you're experiencing.

Really neat! Currently migrating my Xbox group from Slack in favor of using Discord. Slack was cool but I really like the voice channels on here. Most likely continue to use this once I get the Clubs update for Xbox One.

BEST COMMUNICATION APP! Better than Skype or team speak. Less lag which is really helpful for team play. ALSO, the audio quality is really good even if the user has slow internet speed (coz the app is not that consuming unlike Skype). Overall, it's a 9.5/10 for me. Hopefully the developers could improve more features in discord. But in the end, this is my most recommended app. 👍👍💯

New messages don't appear, I have to kill and restart it to see new posts. I love the desktop version but the app has only partial functionality. Might be caused by Samsung's bloatware? Using an s7.

Some audio problems. I love using Discord on PC. That being said, the Android app isn't exactly like the PC version. I'm using bluetooth headphones and the audio come through as call audio. This makes the quality of the audio really terrible. Me and my friends use bots to play music and other stuff. If this problem were to be fixed, I'd rate it 5 stars.

Marvelous app, but I've run into a bug An excellent app, really convenient. However, I encountered a bug: when I start Discord on my phone, it often displays people as connected in the voice channels, even though they are not. It's generally in the combinations that they were connected, maybe half an hour ago, and sometimes I'll even see myself as connected, because I was previously connected on my pc. Anyhow, the only way I've found to fix this is to join one of the voice channels in the server, doesn't matter which one, and they disappear.

With some polishing... It's a good app- Hell, it's great. What it offers and the settings and options and features is all good. But... The notification system on the phone is bad, decent almost. But it's really bothersome to have to work with, with otherwise a good app. I hope this is under reconstruction.

Overall, Discord is a good platform and I'm happy with many of the new features. I'm glad to have the ability to use mod tools now, and one-on-one voice calls. However, this new update has a bug where if I get pinged in a room I can't always clear my notifications and uninstalling did nothing to fix the issue. Additionally, Discord will continue to label messages as new messages after I read and respond to them, and allows all orientations which means that I cannot leave the chat turned sideways. Please fix

Hey Endia, You're talking about the red notifications for @ mentions, correct? If you have access to a PC, you could log in to the web app then right click each server icon > mark as read. This should clear the notifications and hopefully they won't get stuck again. What OS version and device are you using?

Amazing! Discord is amazing! Sounds better than Skype, but slight issue; sometimes a person speaking gets cut off every few moments or so and we can't hear the rest of the sentence. I'd also love to see the user joining/leaving channel notification sound on mobile, just like on desktop. I'd also love to see more server administrator management options; I keep having to go on my browser to give a role to a specific person. Keep it up, Discord!

Overall solid, noticed notification issues If I don't open the app through notifications in the notification panel, the notification for the chat stays there until I actually swipe it away, or enter the chat by tapping the notification. If I am in the app and looking at the new messages, it should clear the notification. Also, I don't get notifications on Peek for my Moto Z

I love the app, and the network, but... it feels so half baked, in comparison to the desktop client! Probably a lot of stuff will take time to add, but please, for the time being, would it be possible to add file transfers for anything other than pictures, like in the desktop/web versions? Great app, but buggy I love to use this app more than Skype on both my phone and my PC, but there are some problems with Discord. I don't know if it's just my device doing this or if anyone else is having an issue, but it seems that I can't check any of my messages and keep a call going on my phone if my phone decides to lock or if I go to check another app or page. It's frustrating when the only solution is to force stop the app and get back on it again

Hey Ariana, Would you happen to be in power saving mode? If so, that's due to the OS terminating the connection once your device locks. You can try turning off the lock and see if that helps.

UI is terrible They need to revamp and simplify everything. Make it go by Material design the way Google intended. Needs to be optimized for Android 7.0. Needs to notify me immediately when I get a message instead of when I open the app. Just fix it or remove from Play Store wtf.
