YBDSA has Associate Members - professionals from the marine industry who work with our members, including solicitors, insurers, finance houses. See the listing under Associates above.

ABYA and YDSA are independent associations. Members are independent individuals who have been elected as members of their professional association by their peers. ABYA and YDSA members have to satisfy their committee they are competent through submission of evidence they hold PI insurance; evidence of their work (which is assessed); two professional references and evidence that brokers have a dedicated client account.
