Assistant Yachting Manager

We have an incredible opportunity for an enthusiastic and pro-active Assistant Yachting Manager to deliver inspiring, customer focused training to yacht students; and to manage, coach and mentor yachting staff, whilst developing a culture of collaborative working to deliver the organisational strategy.

This is an important role within the organisation working as an integral part of the Yachting department under the direction of the Yachting Manager.

Key selection criteria: RYA Yacht Master qualified in addition to proven marine industry and lecturing experience in a similar managerial role within a relevant industry sector; with demonstrable knowledge of health and safety afloat and ashore. RYA Ocean Master qualified an advantage.

Site Maintenance Operative

We are looking for a multi-talented and experienced Site Maintenance Operative with substantial all-round building maintenance knowledge and practical experience of site maintenance requirements. Working as part of a small team, the role will carry out daily maintenance and repairs to the Academy’s accommodation and office facilities. This role is ideal for natural self-starter, who is highly organised and resilient with a flexible, creative and collaborative approach focused on delivering an excellent service.

 Key selection criteria:  The Site Maintenance Operative will have the ability to fault-find and undertake routine checks and repairs; maintain accurate repair records whilst ensuring work is carried out proficiently, resourcefully and to a high standard observing legal and UKSA Health & Safety obligations.

NCS Team Leaders

We are looking for exceptional NCS Team Leaders to lead teams of young people through the government’s flagship initiative – the National Citizens programme. This is an ideal opportunity for people who are committed to making a difference to young people , the local community and who wish to gain an invaluable insight into planning and delivering a project to deadlines.

Key selection criteria: Life experience and extensive practice of leading and working with groups of young people with the ability to both motivate them and command their respect. Experience of planning, coordinating, delivering programmes for 16-17 year olds and what engages them.
