Mental Health America cordially invites you to Media, Messaging and Mental Health. Join us as we host Mental Health America's 2016 Annual Conference at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center just outside Washington, DC in Alexandria, VA.

This venue will provide our conference participants with an amazing experience! Below you'll find information on registration, hotel accommodations, transportation and the local area.

Each registration includes the Clifford W. Beers Awards Dinner on Wednesday June 8, the Movie Night on June 9 and the Closing Luncheon on June 10. These tickets are not transferable. You may purchase additional guest tickets for the Clifford W. Beers Awards Dinner at an added cost of $90 per ticket for each person in your party, and the Closing Luncheon for an additional $50 per ticket. Register today!

Students with a valid University ID may register with a special rate of $175. This allows them to attend all sessions except for the Clifford W. Beers Award Dinner, Movie Night and the closing luncheon. Tickets to those events must be purchased separately. Students should contact Erin Wallace at ewallace@mentalhealthamerica.net for instructions on how to register. Please note that students will need to bring a student ID to registration to confirm the rate.

Getting Here

If You're Flying or Taking the Train
The Hilton Mark Center Alexandria is a short drive or shuttle ride away from Ronald Reagan National Airport and within a 45-minute from Dulles International and Baltimore International Airports. Shuttle service is most convenient from Ronald Reagan National Airport. Taxis or transportation from the other airports will cost more.

In addition, the Hilton is a short cab ride or metro/bus trip away from Union Station.

If You're Driving
Getting to the Hilton Mark Center Alexandria is pretty easy even if driving, although you should plan around Washington, DC's congested rush hour. 

Parking
The cost is $24/day for self-parking in the garage and $28/day for valet parking.

Check out the neighborhood
Part of the appeal of our conference is the proximity to several fabulous areas, including historic Old Town Alexandria, Mount Vernon, National Harbor, and our nation's capitol, Washington, DC. Each of these highlighted areas has tremendous amounts of activities for our participants and a wide range of restaurants, shops, attractions, and overall opportunities to have a wonderful experience and a great time.
