Volunteering at YHA Summer Camps is a truly amazing experience! Summer camps give young people the opportunity to gain independence and confidence through outdoor activities. Your role as a volunteer is to inspire and encourage campers to make the most out of their camp experience.

Go behind the scenes as students from Highfields School in Matlock take over YHA's National Office for the day! The year 11 Business Studies students packaged up chocolate in preparation for the Christmas market and got their marketing heads on as they created their own advert for YHA's YouTube channel.

21st November 2015 saw YHA's National Office being taken over by Year 11 Business Studies students from Highfields School in Matlock, Derbyshire. The team's were asked to create their own adverts for YHA's YouTube channel. This is Team 2's finished advert which sees HRH The Queen and the (fictional) CEO of YHA get interviewed. YHA Day 2015 at YHA Hartington Hall was a real family affair. With face painting, stalls, and tonnes of fun, this event had all the trappings of a traditional village fete. And what better setting than the beautiful grounds of YHA Hartington Hall?

During the third annual #YHADay Pop-Up Charity Shop on the roof terrace at YHA London St Paul's, something very special happened. Showcasing the best of what guests have left behind over the year and giving a nod to the vintage, second-hand and upcycling trends, YHA staff took to the catwalk and struck a pose - all in the name of charity!
