Safety Boat course overview

The Safety Boat training teaches the skills required to act as an escort craft, safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes, both for racing and training activities. The Safety Boat course teaches more advanced boat handling plus rescue techniques for dinghies, windsurfers, canoes and towing. It also includes elements of race management and mark laying.

Pre-requisite experience:

Skill and knowledge equivalent to RYA Powerboat Level 2

1 weekend
