Pinarello to skip Eurobike 2016
Eurobike is a very important event for the cycling world. However, in recent years the business strategies of Pinarello have changed radically. For several years now, we have favored direct involvement with our customers. In the coming years We plan to expand on this with the two annual events we host in Treviso and augment it with smaller regional events around the world. We will continue to introduce the coming year's new products in May via a collaborative presentation with Team Sky at the Giro D'Italia. In July the La Pinarello Cycling Marathon will remain as it has for 20 years, three days dedicated to Pinarello with an expo open to all and the opportunity for Pinarello dealers to ride or race the newest Pinarello bike in one of Italy’s premier granfondos. In Autumn our Test Ride Fleets will begin yearlong travels across the globe with the new range of bikes, allowing cyclists around the world to experience the unique ride that only a Pinarello can provide. We also want to recognize and thank Eurobike for the important role it has played in our accomplishments in the market place. We wish them all the best for continued growth and success.

Since 2010 this alliance has enabled Team Sky to climb the heights of the major competitions in the world. The new DOGMA F8, brought Chris Froome to victory at the 2015 Tour de France, will still be matte black, but with the addition of a bright blue and a white line. The first Pinarello Shop opens in London, in the heart of the City. In Regent Street near the beautiful Piccadilly Circus! The opening was made on June 17, just 10 days after the spectacular Hour Record of Bradley Wiggins, with distinguished guests, as Fausto Pinarello, Lord Alan Sugar, Malcolm Elliot and of course the host Phil Griffiths. Chris Froome with Pinarello DOGMA F8 claimed his second Criterium du Dauphine title in the space of three years by winning the final stage into Modane Valfrejus. Van Garderen began the day in the yellow jersey with an 18-second lead over Froome and he stuck tightly to the Sky man on the lower slopes of the final haul to the line in anticipation of his inevitable attack.

1 VS 3? NO PROBLEM WITH DOGMA F8!
Ian Stannard pulled off a stunning victory to defend his Omloop Het Nieuwsblad title after seeing off three Etixx – Quick-Step riders. The Brit found himself in a select four-man lead group but headed into the final 40 kilometres as the odd man out, surrounded by rival team-mates. Undeterred, Stannard shut down a pair of late attacks on the run into Gent before out-sprinting Niki Terpstra to seal an epic victory. Able to conserve energy as Stijn Vandenbergh, Tom Boonen and Terpstra led the quartet, the 27 year old was finally forced into action as the attacks began. Boonen kicked first with 4.6km to go, only for Stannard to emphatically ride across the gap. Terpstra and Vandenbergh immediately responded but Stannard proved the stronger, heading under the flamme rouge with now just Terpstra for company, and winning a two-up sprint for a second year in succession. Team Sky worked hard all race to set up Stannard, with the squad grouped at the front to avoid the danger on a difficult parcours. Sir Bradley Wiggins and Bernhard Eisel pulled for long turns at the front, and when the attacks began both Stannard and Luke Rowe were there to mix it up in the front group. Rowe capped off a great day with ninth place, having pushed the pace on the Wolvenberg shortly before the decisive move went.
THOMAS ESCAPES TO VICTORY
Geraint Thomas leapt to the top of the standings at the Volta ao Algarve by escaping to a stunning solo victory on stage two. Thomas latched onto Rein Taaramae’s wheel when the Astana rider attacked the final climb of the day, and then blew his rival away as he crested the summit and powered on for his first win of the season. The Welshman crossed the line with a 19-second cushion over Taaramae, with the Estonian’s team-mates Valerio Agnoli and Luis Leon Sanchez leading a reduced peloton home four seconds later.

Elia Viviani claimed his first victory for Team Sky with an impressive sprint finish on stage two at the Dubai Tour. The Italian came off the wheels of rivals Mark Cavendish and Andrea Guardini before accelerating to secure a comfortable victory in the spectacular surroundings of the Palm Jumeirah.

Richie Porte with DOGMA F8, pulled out one of the best rides of his career to take victory on stage five of the Tour Down Under. Porte’s initial acceleration put all his rivals into difficulty, but with the ochre jersey of Rohan Dennis (BMC Racing) clinging to his wheel, the Team Sky rider had to dig even deeper to offload the race leader.

Chris Froome won Tour of Romandie
A great Chris Froome with our Pinarello BOLIDE, set a time of 24:50 to beat world time trial champion Tony Martin by less than a second. It was Froome's second consecutive victory at the Tour de Romandie, the third consecutive victory for Team Sky after Bradley Wiggins won in 2012 and the team's 150th victory.

It was immediately ridden to the top step of the podium, reaffirming the Pinarello supremacy that began with the time trial bikes of another Tour de France champion, Miguel Indurain.
