    रेलवे यात्रियों को बेहतर सुविधाएँ देने हेतु रेल कोचों पर डिस्प्ले बोर्ड लगाए जाएंगे जिससे यात्रियों को आने वाले स्टेशन का पता, उसकी दूरी और रेल की गति जैसी जानकारी प्राप्त होगी, तथा यात्रियों को आने वाले स्टेशनों पर मिलने वाली सुविधाओं के बारे में भी अवगत कराया जाएगा।

    In case you ever wonder why so many 'stones' are there on railway tracks, these 'stones' are known as 'ballast'. They act as a cushion and 'shock absorber' for the tracks,when trains pass on them.Ballast is periodically 'deep screened' and augmented to keep the tracks fit & safe.

    रेलवे ने हाथियों को ट्रेन हादसों से बचाने के लिए "Plan Bee" के तहत रेलवे-क्रासिंग पर ऐसे ध्वनि यंत्र लगाए हैं जिनसे निकलने वाली मधुमक्खियों की आवाज से हाथी रेल पटरियों से दूर रहते हैं और ट्रेन हादसों की चपेट में आने से बचते हैं।
